- Abstract
Due to the transition of the electrical energy systems worldwide the reliability and remaining lifetime especially of power transformers become increasingly important, because these costly components are installed at strategically important points of the grid. Therefore in this contribution various offline diagnosing techniques are discussed, enabling a condition assessment as a basis for asset-management systems, in order to optimize maintenance costs and capital investments.
