Description
After successful completion of the module, students are able to work on network planning tasks with common computer programs and are able to:
- describe the research objectives and methods of network planning and network operation management
- apply different modal components in stationary and rotating coordinate systems
- implement the basics of graph theory and build up network equation systems in impedance and admittance form
- describe and apply algorithms for power flow calculation, for the calculation of symmetrical and asymmetrical short circuits and interruptions and calculations for static and transient stability of multi-machine systems
- explain and apply procedures for estimating the state of the system and for simulating boundary grids
