Description
Students learn basic energy management concepts, energy demand, resources and reserves, structure and regulatory framework in Germany and Europe as well as thermal power plants. They learn terms and interrelationships of renewable energy production: technology, economic significance and developments, transmission and distribution grids, economics of the energy industry, electricity trading and market mechanisms as well as the challenges for a sustainable energy supply of the future.
Only Principles and Calculation Methods of the Electric Power Industry:
Students expand their knowledge with the necessary calculation methods for the economic assessment of energy technology processes and projects. They also learn the requirements for scientific preparation and presentation of complex topics and gain presentation experience.
