Description
After successful completion of the module, students can:
- handle the complex phasor display, the passive sign convention and the single-phase circuits and apply them to power networks
- explain the structure and operation of symmetrical electrical power supply systems and equipment for the steady state
- explain the behaviour of the system and equipment in normal operation and in the event of symmetrical faults
- construct and parameterize equipment and system models and perform calculations of symmetrical electrical systems for the steady state on the basis of acquired calculation methods
- assess the static stability and determine frequency deviations in case of power differences
